Project: Simplify Week 2

I survived week one of Project:Simplify and am very proud of my accomplishments in my closet.  I had several, what I thought were going to be road blocks, come up during the week.  I just couldn't let anything stop me from finishing my project!  And now I have a quiet sanctuary to hide in when I need to ;)

On to week two of Project:Simplify I go!!  And I am thinking, Seriously!!  Does this lady live in my home and know exactly where my hot spots are?!?!  First my closet and now PAPER CLUTTER!!  Yikes!  But I am going to do it!  My kitchen counter seems to be a magnet for paper clutter.  I've got a nice office in which it can be stored.  It drives me crazy.  However, my office really isn't any better.  So...kitchen counter....office....will be clutter free by the end of this week!  The thought of all this simplification is getting me a bit excited.  I am having the opportunity to get all my Spring cleaning done even before it is Spring!  I think that means I will have more time to take photos outside! ;)  Join me if you'd like!

Here are my before photos for this weeks Project:Simplify, Paper Clutter.... {the pictures really don't do my mess justice....}

  1. I think wide open aps with great bokeh does wonders for messes--kinda like a reverse squint! LOL Nice photos!

  3. Oh my goodness, you clutter is nothing compared to mine. I'm too scared to put the pictures up. Haha Maybe I'll get the courage tomorrow.

  4. You make clutter look good! LOL. My kitchen counter and computer desk are the same way-everything piles up there. Drives me crazy too.

  5. I have hopes of finishing up the closet tonight...if I can get off of the computer! But the paper clutter is really intimidating me. My office is scary....Good luck! Hopefully we can both tackle it!

  6. Tracy, I'm a nut when it comes to PPing. That one, I used Florabella Milk and Honey I and then changed the honey layer from a yellow to a hot pink. I like to play. :) And turned off the lighten and brighten layers so it wasn't all blown out.
