Day Three Prompt: What are some traditional lucky symbols that you can think of? How has our culture created its own perception of what brings luck (and what brings bad luck?). look around your surroundings….what lucky “token” can you find?
This was such a difficult one for me....I don't really have a traditional lucky symbol. So I am skipping this one for today....
I do have this young man though! He will forever be my lucky charm from God. He was born with a heart defect called a VSD in an area of the heart that is not the easiest for a hole to heal. Under Dr.'s watch for the first six months of his life to make sure he was growing as he should. A Handful of EKG's. Many prayers for the hole to heal and for him to live a healthy life. Prayers were answered at his six month check up. No more VSD, no more Dr. visits, a mommy and daddy that could rest assured knowing their little boy was fine. A time in my life I will always remember. I feel he is our lucky charm. A reminder of how delicate life is. I look at him and marvel at his spirit and the kind of love he has for everything that can't be taught.
{My lucky charm...}

Day Four Prompt: I am certain that if you think hard, you can find seven materials things that you LOVE. What are they? Capture these with your lens…..the sky is the limit for this lesson. we are all so fortunate for what we have materially. We’re lucky to have these material objects. Let’s focus on our luck and blessings today – capture your favorite seven objects!
I must not really be in the mood to be lucky?? Or, doing my taxes has rid me of my creativity today. It is very gloomy here today as well which is just not giving me the motivation I need! I also try not to focus on material favorites, but I do know I have some!! Here are just a few.

1. Pictures of my family!
2. Jewelry {makes me feel so feminine}
3. Nikon {my camera!!}
4. Knitting, yarn, textiles, etc. {hobbies I share with my boys}
5. Clothes that make me feel good {gray skirt that all the items are on}
6. My porch {where I love to spend my spring/summer/fall days, reading, cuddling, reflecting, admiring}
7. Outside {I really don't like to rough it, but I love the beauty of the elements around me and spending time amongst it all}
Just a glimpse of me :)
