Day 73 Winter Sunset

The last few days have been just glorious here in the frozen Tundra!  The boys and I have gotten out sledding many times and it feels just wonderful to be with them.  Yes, I was the one who said "Bring on Spring!"  But who can't love winter days in the 40's and sledding!  It was our first year with our very own sledding hill and I can say with confidence that we are going to miss it. 

Monday's are VERY busy for our homeschooling family.  Lots of running to classes outside the home and a late supper.  With the temps as warm as they have been the last couple days, rain in the forecast for tomorrow and 55 degree on Wednesday.....I knew our sledding hill could possibly be mush by the end of the week.  So we took advantage of the extra light due to daylight savings and went out to catch a few more memories together on the sledding hill.  I walked out with the boys and saw the beautiful sunset and ran for the camera.  Just wanted to share a little something amazing with you as well.

    So pretty. I love the way the sunset light is reflected on the snow, the little sparkles and the flare. Dreamy. If only winter always looked like this :)

    Wow, that is incredible. It's amazing how sunsets are shaped by what part of the country you live in. I've never had the pleasure of seeing something like this so thank you for sharing it.
