I am ending this week with an awesome feeling of accomplishment. I wasn't sure if I would be able to fulfill this weeks project to simplify my closet/wardrobe, but I did! I am amazed at my ability to get something done when I really want to!! I wasn't sure I had it in me. Whew! On to the revealing!

I can see my floor!! Yippee!!
I am loving my new reclaimed space!! I wanted want to be a piece of clothing and "hang" out in my new closet all day!!
I even got my husband to go through his items! It looks marvelous. Our box of Give was filled and even added a couple to the one!! I felt that having the boxes there and ready made this project so much more streamlined and convenient for me!
I made a list of items I either threw or donated that I would like to replace at some point! Look at all those hangers!!! {Mostly from my husband, since I had gone through my clothes right after I had my daughter} Did I say it feels so good?!
The only purchase I made to complete my efforts of simplifying would be the cream woven baskets! I love them as well. Thank you TJ Maxx Homegoods! My husband is liking them as well!
And of course a selfie from the organizer herself! Like I said, I just want to be a piece of clothing right now and "hang" out in there all day!
And of course, after my week long project of simplifying, I had to take in a few rays from my new reclaimed closet light!! Like I said, I am just "hanging" out!

Great job! I always feel that my shoulders are lighter after a de-cluttering. I'm already looking forward to a yard sale once it begins to warm up here.

ReplyDeleteThis is impressive! I've been working on the same thing but in smaller bursts. Today, I threw away a bunch of old hair products and brushes and it felt great. I can only imagine how great you felt after organizing your closet. Great work!
