Day 63 World's Smallest Ponytails

Pigtails or ponytails?  Whatever you want to call them, my DD now has enough hair to put up!  I adore these "World's smallest ponytails"!

I think we have enough for the next ten years!

I'm not so sure my DD liked the world's smallest ponytails she was now wearing upon her head.  Mommy sure did!!  She didn't mind me putting them in.  However, once they were in, she didn't really care for them.  A tugging she would go.  I managed to keep her busy with some of my give away jewelry...yes, this is the same jewelry my boys went through last week or the week before....to take a few photos and keep her mind off of them.

I was so excited to get to this point, but just not so excited to see my little girl so big!  I will forever adore these "World's smallest ponytails" and treasure this first in her life and mine!

My apologies for never really sticking to just one photo.  I always seem to have to tell a story even if I might not always use words.  I'm finding this is just who I am :)  Maybe I need a personal family blog?  However, I don't feel like adding another thing to my to do list.  Hope you don't mind :)

{I know my husband will be reading this blog, he's my #1 fan!  Thank you for the lightning fast computer!  I'm loving it!!}

  1. I have a hard time sticking to one photo too but would be overwhelmed by the prospect of doing another blog, so I always just remember, this is my journey and I can make it whatever I want. I love your photo stories and am glad you show is more than one of your amazing pictures every once in a while.

  2. I did that to my daughter too and distracted her long enough to take a picture before she pulled them out. They were pretty tiny too. :)

  3. I loved Delia's first little ponies! I love your little one's curls! So precious! Don't worry about the photos. I did tons last year. The only problem with it making a book at the end of the year. It is hard to get all of the photos to fit...I'm having that issue with last years blog. This is primarily why I do a LOT of collages this year. Still ONE image :)

    I rember how excited I was when I was able to coax my girls' whispy fine baby hair into tiny ponytails too.

    I love looking at all your pictures. :)

  6. So cute! I often have a hard time sticking to just one photo too. But I figure it's my project and my blog and I'll go ahead and post as many as I want ;-) I always enjoy your pictures, no matter how many you post.

  7. So precious. I doesn't seem like that long ago we were tring to put tiny ponytails into my daughter's hair. Now her hair is down to the middle of her back and it's a battle just to get it brushed.

  9. These are too cute! I love her pig tails!

    I have a family blog too and I'm thinking about deleting it. It's too much to have both. We shall see though. Sometimes I don't have enough time to edit all my photos before the end of the day and it nice to share them on my family blog.
