Day 152 Annual Flower Potting Day 2011
Every year my boys and I have our annual flower choosing day followed by our annual potting day. THEY LOVE IT! One reason I mentioned in the previous post, to be able to hang out at the garden center for an extended period of time Then making a mess with dirt while having fun planting. I love sharing this time with my boys and sharing this tradition with them. I enjoy seeing the appreciation they have acquired for nature. This one was the one that said everything about how they feel about this day. I have this photo to look back on with fond memories forever! I love capturing their everyday excitement and here I have it.

I remember you talking about doing this with the kids back when I posted my tomato planting project with Gee. I have to say, I like your photos better and might have to head to the garden center again just to get some more photos....plus I left the tomato plants out in front of the new house when we moved and the deer ate them down to nubs!
