Day 156 Childhood memories

Today I had a flood of childhood memories as I passed the playground I used to play on every time my brother would have a baseball game!  I pass this park many times when we visit my parents, but it wasn't until today that I paid more attention to the detail of the park.  It had the same seesaws, the same animal thingys that you go back and forth on, the same swing set AND the same slide I used to go down a million times!!  I had to pull over to photograph it.  I took photos of every piece of antique equipment to have as a treasure.  Wow!  The memories came a flooding in!

  1. Love it! I really need to do this when we go to MI next month, if I can find anything that hasn't been replaced already.

  2. How awesome that they kept everything the same. Sometimes, I wish they would have more old fashioned equipment at the parks today! Great shot and great memories!!

  4. You can just hear the laughter coming out of this photo. If only that old equipment could talk, oh the stories it could tell. It kind of reminds me of the "Giving Tree".

  6. I like the perspective and the cool colors. I can almost hear the children's laughter and imagine them climbing up.

  8. Love the angle you chose for this shot. Very cool.
That makes me think about getting some shots from the Kinder playground. Because believe it or not I am putting together a slideshow for the whole class...HOW? :)
