Day 145 {Chicago} American Girl

Today we toured Chicago!!  What an amazing city.  We had crazy weather today.  A picture of my soaked sandals, pants and umbrella would have been a more appropriate photo, but I didn't want to remember it that way.  Our first stop on the agenda was American Girl!!  Oh yeah!  This photo is not from that day, I have many, but this sums up what my daughter carries around most hours of the day now.  We grew by one and became a family of 8....yes, both my boys have American Girl boys from another time.

  1. That is precious! I love your unique perspective and how you always seem to know how to focus on just what is important in your photos. This picture says so much even with saying so little!

  2. So sweet! We've been to the American Girl store in Chicago 2 or 3 times and Em still has her Samantha and Felicity dolls. One time we went in the middle of a blizzard. I think I'd rather go in rain ;-)

  3. Oh so sweet! Looks like she loves her doll! I am going up to Chicago with some girlfriends in July. Where should we go? What should we plan to see?

  4. awww you should have called me! :) My daughter worked at AG for 3 years! (ages 10-13) She played Kirsten/Kit and Julie in the theater. We've spent many a day there. Sad, they don't have the theater anymore, and she is now 16. So glad you had a good time!
