I am so proud of my oldest DS! He finished off his first year of choir with a Spring concert today. They did amazing!! He is the second boy from the middle in the front row.
He looks so grown up in this picture. I bet you were bursting at the seams with pride watching him up there doing his thing! He's such a good boy!
I'm impressed with your lighting and W/B here. I always have a hard time inside churches, so I'd love to know what your settings were and did you shoot this in RAW?
Regarding my photo with Mom's name in the sand, I stood close to the water line and wrote Mom's name in the sand after the water pulled out a little, so I think that is why it was so smooth. I think I must have looked super funny bending way over to write her name and trying not to get any footprints close to the writing. I did have a few little sand smudges, but I just cloned them out. Also, I hadn't notice that the water was heart shaped until you pointed it out to me. Thank you for that and for all your wonderful, heartfelt posts these last couple of weeks. You really have a wonderful way with words and always seem to know just the right thing to say, so thank you for that!
Awesome! Em has her spring concert tonight. The last one she'll have, probably, since she's not taking it in high school :-(
