Day 129 Puddle Jumping Butterfly Catching Kind of Night
Today started out with high winds, lots of rain, very loud thunder, little boys sleeping in our bedroom and worried brothers for their sister thinking I should go and get her as well since she can't just walk into our room. I thought it was precious that they would think of her! However, after much little thought, I choose not to wake her so we could all get a couple of hours more rest. :) Mondays are baseball practice, but with all the rain it ended up being canceled. However, the coach said he would still be at the fields to practice, but only on the pavement. Why not! So my husband and son went to get in some extra practice despite the wet fields. If it isn't snow, it's rain. While they were gone the younger two and I decided to go for a walk to the garden center down the road. On our way down our driveway my youngest DS decided to do some puddle jumping! Sure, let's test out our new water boots and Mommy can get some fun photos ;) I love puddle jumping!

It is so different editing photos taken outside! I am feeling a bit intimidated. I also would like to apologize in advance if I begin to seem like a ghost lurking and not leaving comments. We have a vacation planned at the end of this month and I have a couple photo sessions that I really need to work on and get out before then. I promise to get caught up along the way here and there. I appreciate all of your support and want to show mine as well.
AND THANK YOU MELISSA N.!! The package arrived safely. Many, many thanks! Most of all I loved the enclosed surprise piece of art! I would have much rather of had you and Adalyn here for a visit, but this will do in the meantime. Both Estelle and I loved looking at the colorful and beautiful piece of art.
Yay for puddle jumping! Love seeing the drops captured! Cute pic of your daughter with the special artwork! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the jumping shots! He looks like he is really into it.
ReplyDeleteLook at all those drops you captured from his jumping. That is an awesome shot and I LOVE all the different views.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that the package arrived and it brought a smile to your face. Adalyn and I loved making it for you guys. Next time we'll try to squeeze in there ourselves. :)
That's so funny you went to the outlet mall because that's where I went. We have a Gap Outlet here that I love. They had so much summer stuff on the clearance rack in Adalyn's size that I just had to get her summer clothes.
Great puddle jumping captures!
ReplyDeleteLove the curls in your daughters hair...too cute!
How precious that the boys would be so kind as to think of their little sis :)
ReplyDeleteLove the puddle jumping shots...I miss doing this! Next time it rains outside, I am grabbing my flip flops and going out for a little puddle jumping myself!
Thanks for the reminder that the simple things in life (like a sweet puddle) bring us great pleasures!
