Day 137 Future Pilot
My boys are fascinated with air planes. Today they took their playmobil guys out in some souped up air gear.
And after thinking I was way off with the color of our grass and trees....they all seem to have a yellow green tint to them right now. Our grass is just not green green....now I don't know if I had to post this just for myself, to make myself feel better or what....but I just had to say this is the way it is....I am being very critical of my processing lately, can you tell?? :)

Love this! Very cool plane.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you when I was editing my picture for the day. In a few I didn't use, I was getting neon green/yellow grass when everything else looked right. Yours looks good here :-)
Your green looks green and I love this shot! I cannot wait for summer. We have had 50 degree weather here the last few days :(
ReplyDeleteRaining here as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the shot and yes you have been very hard on you.
Inhale...exhale.... just relax... you are doing great :)
That is a really cool double decker plane. I like everything about this picture!
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool plane!
ReplyDeleteI just got my big LCD monitor calibrated. I use it with my Macbook laptop. I did not calibrate my Mac but it runs pretty close to accurate. The difference today between the two (I'm in a dimly lit office right now) is a tiny bit of contrast and the brightness/luminance. I say this to let you know that on my LCD, I can see the yellowness in the greenery that you describe--it's a bit of that brightness. On my Mac, the greenery looks normal and not yellowish. So, maybe it is your monitor giving you a slightly different reading.
Cool picture!!! Your colors look great on my screen!! You are not alone I am having a hard time with getting my colors to look right too. BTW~I think your colors look great all the time :D
ReplyDeleteI'm on my laptop but the greens look good on my end. You are very hard on yourself with your editing. I think you do an amazing job!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the amazing colors in this shot. Looks like spring has finally made it to your neck of the world.
ReplyDeleteI think your greens are beautiful! And this is a PERFECT boy shot!
ReplyDeleteHey. If you close down your aperture, that is how you will get your starburst. I had my ap. at f/22 and then metered from there. I don't remember off the top of my head what my other settings were but since it was a nice day they didn't go to high. I hope that helps. :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this! The color is great!
ReplyDeleteI think it's great!
