It was baseball tournament time for us this weekend. The boys had a blast. One of the best parts of the season as a parent was watching each of them improve with each practice and each game. Our coach was amazing and taught the boys lessons they will carry with them forever. His sportsmanship went above and beyond.
Tourney day and it's over 100 degrees and VERY humid!! The players never lost a beat though. This is my DS during his last game. They were tied 5 to 5 in the 5th inning. (they only play 5 innings) With 2 outs, the other team had 2 players on base. Batter hits a pop fly to my DS...and he catches it sending the teams into a forced extra inning!!!! I was a proud parent on the sidelines. ;) This photo sums up his feelings about this year.

ReplyDeleteCutest photo EVER! And I'm so glad to hear that he's playing on a team that actually keeps score! I'm not sure I'm on board with all this "everyone is a winner" philosophy these days!

ReplyDeleteAwww...what a cutie! Wow, look at his awesome attitude in that heat - ugh! I don't think I've been smiling that big at our last several games...heat makes me grumpy! LOL!
