We're Going On A Bear Hunt

Estelle loves to be read to and loves the book We're Going On A Bear Hunt!  We were picking up the bedrooms yesterday when I looked over to see Leighton reading to Estelle.  I want to remember this time in their life!  I want to freeze it actually.  I have been reminded in many ways that we are not in control of our lives and we never know when we won't have each other to hug, to kiss, to just touch.  So my goal this year is to capture just that.  The moments that I will want to remember.  The tenderness and the roughness between my children.  The fun and the not so fun because they are all moments we have together.  And they are all just perfect!
Book reading soon turned into a mini photo session with big brother.  Whenever I go to grab my camera, Leighton is sure to be right behind me with his.  I love how he enjoys mirroring me.  It also makes for some fun photos!
I love the emotion and excitement in this photo!  Estelle is at that point where she loves to see herself on the camera.  She will make silly faces or pose and then want to see them.  L.O.V.E
Then it was Estelle's turn to read her favorite book.
A little bokeh of my baby.
She will soon be moving to a "big girl" bed and I have been wanting some photos of her just enjoying her room.  It won't be this way for much longer.

  2. Oh I love the connection between your kiddos, they are too sweet. I hope you're not dwelling on those stories from the other night. Smile lady! :) But you are right and we need to cherish every moment with our precious gifts! You know how you said Adalyn looks so much older from when we visited, Estelle is looking so much older as well. Our babies are growing too fast. Adalyn is moving into her big girl bed tonight or tomorrow night. Depends on if I get off my bottom and get her room situated. hehe Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
