Day 331 Tree Cutting Day
Our annual tradition of cutting down a tree was today. A memorable one it was. The temps were a bit chilly so we bundled the Little's up and went on a search for the perfect tree. Would you think we were crazy if I told you we spent an hour and a half looking for "the" tree!? Once we found the one, I couldn't cut it down without setting my tripod up for our annual Christmas tree cutting family portrait. This was one expensive photo shoot! After taking the photo and removing my camera from the tripod I held it in my arms. Estelle was wanting to be held again so I bent over, picked her up only to have my camera fall. And why did that rock have to be where my camera fell!? I didn't notice anything wrong with my camera until a couple nights later when we were plugging in tree light strands. I'd get some shots and then a totally black screen for another. I will be sending my camera into Nikon within the week for repairs. How am I going to live without my camera? Oh, I know I will, but it won't be easy!

Where's the shot of you in it??? This could be a pottery barn cover!! hehe Are all the coats the same ones? Seriously, can your family be any cuter! Love it!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm crossing everything for either a quick fix on the camera or a shiny new one under the tree. ;)
Greta family photo!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope that you have insurance on the camera. It is a beautiful shot you got here. Bad time to not have the camera, so sorry.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Melissa, this shot looks like it could be straight out of a magazine. After spending some time in the snow, I can appreciate those coats and adorable..and very warm...hats!
ReplyDeleteSo so sorry about your camera. I hope it's an easy fix.
