I am working on finishing up a session and would love your input on this photo.....Do you think it looks ok?? Something about it has me questioning it....is it too cool temperature wise? Thanks!!
Okay I'm on my iPhone so I can't be exact but iPad is charging and I'll check again on that because the color is usually spot on. But I would say yes it does look a little cool. However I could see how that brick wall and grate she is sitting on could give that effect. With the other photos the background with the bokeh it's naturally warm so it'll naturally look cooler next to it. KWIM? Hopefully that made sense, it's hard typing on a phone.
P.S. I'm totally stalking your page for photos. I'm dying over here wishing I had a computer to edit on. ;)
I would probably warm up her face just a hint- unless this is true to her natural color. But I am a complete amateur when it comes to editing. I have so far to go- so I am not sure how much value my opinion counts for :) I also tend to over saturate my own photos. I like them when I initially process & then when I take a look back I wonder what I was thinking. I am drawn to ones like this here & I need to practice achieving that feel in my own work. I really love the shot & the vivid colors she is wearing!

It looks pretty good to me but the laptop is not plugged in so the screen is darker than usual. Love this shot.
ReplyDeleteMe too, not a professional, but I think it does look good. I do tend to have less warm colors as well. I love the pop of color.
