Grandpa and Grandma treated the kids to rides! {Insert nail bitter for mommy}

First carny game was the Goldfish Ping Pong ball toss! One of my favorites growing up!

The gang coming up with a strategy. Doesn't Estelle look just thrilled! Can you find her...It's like finding Waldo!

Estelle was so intrigued by everything!

I think this is my favorite photo from the day captured by Ethan! I am so happy I have taught them how to use my camera! The intent look on Leighton's face counting on Mommy to win him a fish! Well, a fish wasn't won by me. However, a sweet little boy {who had won 2 fish!! How did he manage that!!} came up to me, probably because he could see how disappointed the boys were that their Mom couldn't win them a gold fish, and handed me a card for a fish. I kindly told him he didn't have to give me his and he ever so sweetly said, "Oh, that's ok. I won two." Oh well thank you little man! Which come to find out, I could have bought them a sweet little orange gold fish from Wal-Mart for .39 cents!

From the Goldfish ping pong ball toss we headed to the coin machines! No little boy there handing out his winnings! Leighton wasn't tall enough to see in, so Ethan took on the big boy duty of lifting his brother up to see. Had to catch this moment!

Then onto the first ride of the day!! This one was so fun they had to go on it a second time before leaving....and then the ever so kind carny man handed back their tickets to go on yet another ride!! {insert, thank you very much Mr. Carny Guy..hmmmm}

Leighton is enjoying his new freedom of going on rides without Mommy and Daddy. First the water park this year and now the Ferris Wheel!! This boy now wears a big grin whenever he sees he has passed the 48" mark!

Midway through our visit to the fair, Ethan and Leighton were feeling brave and wanted to take on the Octopus!! Well, ends up I had to shout to the carny man to stop the ride because my oldest was almost in tears. He was shaking after and almost in tears because he had the feeling he was going to fly out of the seats. Poor guy! Taught him a good lesson that Mommy does really know what she is talking about most of the time!

There are lots more from our day, but I have to stop there for tonight. This is far to long the way it is. But I know Grandma and Grandpa are excited to see some photos from our day. I hope to get to more as there was so much more we did and saw!
I love your photography! I almost feel like I was there at the Fair! You do great with the facial expressions and the unique perspectives. I looked back at the prior posts too and they are all impressive.
