Leighton is 7 years old and up until last Monday, August 20th, he had not lost a baby tooth. He's been anxiously awaiting the day when he could come to me and show me a really loose tooth. Well, that day still has not come, but he has lost his first baby tooth. None of his teeth were loose, but a permanent tooth was starting to make its way up totally avoiding the root of the baby tooth....therefore no loose tooth for Leighton. I made a call into our dentist on Thursday, August 16th to make an appointment for him to have it looked at or removed. Without hesitation, our dentist wanted to get it out so that the permanent tooth would have plenty of room to make its way up and hopefully correct itself in the meantime. Way more information than you wanted to know, but hey, this is for my records ;)
