Of course I just had to try out a shoot under the pier! I admire so many photographers and their under the pier photos I had to try it out for myself. I LOVED it!! The lighting was so pretty. The kids were not near as thrilled as mommy, but they put up with me for a bit. Then it was off to collect more shells.
And of course I had to do a selfie so that when I look back, I will know I was also on this trip!
Walking on anything narrow seems to be a big thing for Estelle these days. The boys decided to follow right along. Good thing she couldn't climb the fence {she tried a few times}, otherwise I think she would have been walking on it as well!
And what would be a stop out on the pier without something sweet? Just a look, some photos and we were out. We opted for DQ along the way to Lompoc.

The sunset was just lovely. We were wishing we had another night in Santa Cruz. As much as we loved our time in Santa Cruz, we were equally excited for the many miles ahead of us to Lompoc to see Marty's Aunt!
